I have always preferred homemade food. However, it can be difficult to make all the time when you’re busy with kids. I have slowly begun making more homemade food items, and as I did, I realized I didn’t want to run to the store for a random ingredient I’d probably never use again. So, I tweak recipes to use what I already have at home. Doing this also means I’m more likely to make the recipe again.
Ranch is one of my all-time favorite condiments. So why not give it a shot? Well, it turned out so good, I don’t know if I’ll buy ranch again. It’s easy, quick, and lasts a long time in the fridge.

Ingredients:
- 1/2c mayo
- 1/2c sour cream OR greek yogurt (plain)
- 1/4c whole milk
- ½ tsp vinegar
- ½ tsp lemon juice
- 1tsp garlic powder
- 1tsp onion powder
- 1tsp dried parsley
- ½ tsp dill
- ½ tsp salt and pepper

Directions:
- Mix the mayo, sour cream, and milk.
- Add lemon juice and vinegar. Too watery for you? Add more mayo and sour cream. I would recommend only ½ tbsp of each at a time.
- Add the spices! Don’t like dill? Don’t use it. Use salt and pepper to taste. Adjust seasonings as you wish to make it exactly how YOU like it.
- Refrigerate and enjoy!
