I have always preferred homemade food. However, it can be difficult to make all the time when you’re busy with kids. I have slowly begun making more homemade food items, and as I did, I realized I didn’t want to run to the store for a random ingredient I’d probably never use again. So, I tweak recipes to use what I already have at home. Doing this also means I’m more likely to make the recipe again.

Ranch is one of my all-time favorite condiments. So why not give it a shot? Well, it turned out so good, I don’t know if I’ll buy ranch again. It’s easy, quick, and lasts a long time in the fridge.

Directions:

  1. Mix the mayo, sour cream, and milk.
  2. Add lemon juice and vinegar. Too watery for you? Add more mayo and sour cream. I would recommend only ½ tbsp of each at a time.
  3. Add the spices! Don’t like dill? Don’t use it. Use salt and pepper to taste. Adjust seasonings as you wish to make it exactly how YOU like it.
  4. Refrigerate and enjoy!
