Are you a chocolate lover like me? I love enjoying a small sweet treat almost daily, but didn’t want the additives. Then I realized how easy it was to make homemade chocolate bars at home. And this time, there’s no sugar. I only use honey to sweeten them and they are delicious!

Directions:

  1. Melt the coconut oil. I did this using a double boiler.
  2. Remove the coconut oil when it is completely melted. Let the coconut oil cool a few minutes. Do not let cool too much, as it will start to turn to a solid again.
  3. Add in the cacao powder, while mixing well.
  4. Add honey, vanilla, and a pinch of salt if desired. Mix well!
  5. Mix well and pour into chocolate mold.
  6. Chill for at least 1 hour. I personally keep mine in the freezer. If you chill in the fridge, it may just take longer to set.

NOTES: this recipe makes about 6 chocolate bars. I personally like to always keep them in the freezer. Want to make a completely organic chocolate bar? Use all organic ingredients – or listed HERE for your convenience.
